See what happens in your server, and who did it

Deleted and edited messages, joins and leaves, role changes, voice channels and invites go to the channels you pick. Split them by type, and the bot checks the audit log to show who deleted a channel or banned someone.

  • New members show which invite they used and who invited them
  • Bulk deletes come with a file of every deleted message
  • Sent through webhooks with your own name and picture

Spam gets deleted, and strikes add up on their own

The bot catches invites to other servers, scam links, mass mentions, repeated messages and words you block. Rule breakers get strikes, and at the count you set they are timed out, kicked or banned automatically. The rules come from the Vortex bot.

  • Word filters support plain text, wildcards and regex
  • Test filters on the web before turning them on
  • Exempt some channels or roles
  • 2,000+ referral and IP-logger domains the bot knows

A trap channel for spam bots

The bot creates a channel that clearly says not to post. People read it and stay quiet, while bot accounts that post there are softbanned, banned, kicked or timed out at once, and their messages are deleted.

  • Staff and the roles you choose are exempt
  • Send a DM telling them why

Locks the server when people flood in

When people join faster than you allow, say 10 in 10 seconds, the bot turns on raid mode, kicks newcomers with a message explaining why, and unlocks itself after 2 quiet minutes.

  • Raises the verification level while locked and restores it afterwards
  • Lock it yourself from the dashboard or with /raid
Joins per 10 seconds

Even with many admins, you know who changed what

Whenever someone changes the bot's settings, on the web or with a Discord command, the admin activity page records who did it, when, and the values before and after, for 180 days.

  • Channels and roles show by name, so it reads at a glance
  • The bot never stores members' messages in its database

Frequently asked questions

Is Lumu free?

Yes. Add the bot to your server and sign in with your Discord account to set it up. There's nothing else to sign up for.

Do I need to type commands to set the bot up?

No. Pick your server in the dashboard and click Get started. The bot creates log channels, turns on Automod and builds the trap channel. If you prefer commands, /logs autosetup, /automod setup and /honeypot setup do the same in Discord.

Does the bot need Administrator?

No. The invite link asks only for the permissions its features use, such as View Audit Log, Manage Messages, Kick, Ban, Timeout and Manage Webhooks. If you remove one, the features that need it stop working.

Does the bot keep members' messages?

It remembers recent messages and downscaled images in memory, so it can show what a deleted or edited message said and which images it had. It never saves message content or images to its database. What it saves is settings, daily stats, moderation cases and strikes, and a history of which admin changed what.

How is Lumu different from Dyno or Carl-bot?

They do similar jobs: logs, Automod and moderation commands. Lumu keeps every setting on the web with a dashboard in 8 languages, replies in Thai or English, and comes with a spam-bot trap and raid protection built in.

Which languages does the bot speak?

Thai and English, chosen per server on the General settings page. It applies to log messages and command replies. The dashboard itself comes in 8 languages.

What commands are there for staff?

For punishments: /ban, /unban, /softban, /kick, /timeout, /strike and /pardon. Each one gets a case number to look back on, and you can change the reason later with /reason. There's also /check for a member's history, /clean to delete many messages at once, /slowmode, and /raid to lock the server yourself.

Add Lumu and click Get started

The bot creates log channels, turns on Automod and builds the trap channel. You can fine-tune everything later.
